The College is the largest at Aston University by a number of measures, including student numbers, income, number of academic staff and business engagement. Aston Law School has grown rapidly since its inception, with a focus on business law and related disciplines such as IP. The School of Social Sciences and Humanities undertakes highly-regarded teaching and research in sociology, politics, linguistics, culture and history.
Reporting directly to Aston’s new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aleks Subic, the successful candidate will bring inspirational leadership to Aston Business School and the College of Business and Social Sciences. As a Pro-Vice-Chancellor, they will also play a central part in the development of Aston’s university strategy for 2030.
